Nanny here I didn't understand one thing here how come taking 3 days sick leave in 2 year is lot. Most nannies get 5 to 6 days sick leave in a year right plus the 2 week vacation?
Who the heck gets 6 sick days a year!!!???
I actually get 12 sick days per year. We can roll them over though, so most people don't use them all. I've had several co workers save them up for bigger things like surgery or maternity leave. FWIW, I'm a psychologist that does work in the home with children and families. A lot of the homes are not the cleanest or very sanitary, so I do get sick from that occasionally. I'd say I take an average of 2-3 legitimate sick days per year. We can also use our sick time for things like doctor's appointments, etc.
