Babies don't need baths every day. You are just going to dry their skin out. Me and my MB have decided to bath my charge every 3rd day.
Concerning this and the PPs that touted only bathing 2-3 times a week, or a couple times a month?? Naaaasty  Astonishing that people still believe this less-than-hygenic old wives tail in 2015. :? The biological processes that happens daily for all humans, calls for daily bathing. Babies get dirty every single day in that same way, in addition to feedings, pooping, playing, food in hair, etc. Barring living where water is a scarcity , give the child a daily bath. Remember, babies float in amniotic fluid for nine months. Do they come out looking dried out, or soft, silky skin. And our bodies have oil glands that remoisturize the skin. Give you an example: In the 1600s, people only bathed once a year for the same false reason. Annual bath time was towards May's end. So those planning to marry around that time would plan a June wedding while they were still "relatively" fresh. And this is the where and why of the practice of being a "June bride" originated. Soooo people ran around smelling to high heaven, and diseases/deaths connected to uncleaness were rampant.
This is hilariously ill-informed.
+1 The best way to be wrong is to be REALLY wrong and also REALLY condescending about it. Thanks for the laugh!
No condescension is intended, anymore than those who advocate lesser bathing. Which part is REALLY wrong? Which part is REALLY condescending?
