Charge was 9 years old and I was not expecting him rip the bag apart by jumping onto me and catching my bag. He fell to the ground and took the bottom of the purse with him. Not sure why you assume it was a toddler. Kinda judgy.... [/quote] The kid's bad behavior is what caused the bag to break, I would absolutely expect the parents to replace it in this case. You did nothing irresponsible to cause it, and he was old enough to now better. OP's situation is different, she brought an expensive toy to work and placed it in a silly place where it would easily fall. Of course the kids were jumping around in their own playroom, they did nothing wrong. [/quote]
