[/quote] The key question, which OP hasn't answered, is whether or not the nanny receives PTO. If she doesn't, then of course we will be outraged on her behalf - many people who work at hourly jobs cannot afford to lose a day's worth of pay. Clearly the nanny thought she could tough it out and couldn't, but it isn't like she showed up thinking "HA! I won't do anything today and I'll still get paid!" - obviously she feels like crap.[/quote]
