However the main point made here was the nanny was ignoring the children and not supervising them at a park while she chatted away on her phone.  There are clearly some times that a phone call is warranted and justified.  But NOT when your supposed to be supervising a crawling infant and their older sibling.  This was the main point, it seems some that do this either don't care how it is perceived to others or are really ignorant.  The point made here is that it's not only wrong but it's dangerous to be on the phone instead of supervising the kids. [/quote]

So just to clarify, you expect that the people you trust with your children all day long are incapable of talking on the phone and emptying the dishwasher  at the same time?  It's a wonder we manage to get through a whole day without you staying home with us to tell us what/when/how to do everything![/quote]
