A lot of MBs on this board love to compare being a nanny to their salaried jobs. Yes at your job you are expected to fill your time with whatever may need to be done, related to your job description of course, and you are paid very nicely for this expectation. A nanny is an hourly employee, whose duties are agreed upon at hiring and an hourly wage assigned based on THOSE duties, not whatever the f*ck you want during the hours she works. This nanny performed the agreed upon duties (and well, as OP stated) for the hourly rate she is being paid. If you want more, pay her more, but don't bitch because she's doing what you agreed to pay for and no more. THAT, ladies is what's entitled![/quote]
