There is literally NO circumstance where you should work extra hours (emergency or not) and not be paid. And certainly not HOURS.

Please talk to the other parent / caregiver. Let them know you are worried. Worried about the way you were treated. Worried about how other parent spoke to child. Worried about how you were not paid. This is a big deal - especially if you have been with the family for 4 years. [/quote]

There isn’t another parent. I think he was just having a very bad day and took it out on us. Every Friday I take him to get dinner typically he chooses chipotle or Chick-fil-A. That day he picked McDonald’s which I’ve probably gotten him 20 times over the last 4 years. There has never been an issue before . I’ve always let him get whatever he wants. [/quote]
