4 years. I can’t just leave until I am relived . The parent just left. I wasn’t going to leave the kid alone even though he is a teenager. My employer was so upset,  if I would have left I probably would be fired.

I just hate making a mistake. Yes I get it’s not a huge deal but he was clearly very angry with me. I felt terrible. Like wow I made so many mistakes in an hrs time.[/quote]

4 years. My guess is a punishment? I typically don’t get paid for working late. But I rarely work late . [/quote]

Do you understand that you did nothing wrong?  You did not make a mistake.

You are being exploited if not abused.  Your employer cannot not pay you regardless.

Stop being a doormat, OP.  Stand up for yourself and confront your employer and QUIT. [/quote]
