I'm sorry you sound like a doormat. In days there's going to be martial law, looting and God only knows what else. No way I would leave my children to care for some other child. Next time pay attention in your contract so in events like this you can stay home and still be paid

I am not a doormat, and this was *my* suggested plan. I work for infectious disease physicians -the very people who will treat YOU and your loved ones should you contract corona. I will get paid regardless of whether I stay home and self isolate or help my employers so they can continue working. I take immense pride in my work ethic. [/quote]
