I'm sorry you sound like a doormat. In days there's going to be martial law, looting and God only knows what else. No way I would leave my children to care for some other child. Next time pay attention in your contract so in events like this you can stay home and still be paid

Sorry to burst your bubble, the share is between friends, and the babies are all within 6 weeks age difference. It gives everyone playmates and me a very healthy salary. I started with one family and other two joined a few months ago.


If your employers are all doctors why haven’t they explained to you how children are getting it but asymptomatic. They are seemingly healthy and transmitting to others. So your plan is great in theory, but you very well could already be caring for three infected babies and you won’t know it until you or one of your doctor employers start feeling seriously ill.

We are under social distancing protocol, not isolation protocol. Your nanny can still come. The idea is to slow the spread, not stop it. No large groups. But nanny coming is fine.

That's absurd Dad is moving and paying for a hotel. That's a lot of money. Kids are going to bring the germs from outside to good plan but not fool proof.

For how many weeks/months can you keep this up? Sounds like an enormous sacrifice on YOUR part! They owe you more than a week off.



Right now it’s for 30 days. The sacrifice on my end is enormous- I have children I won’t see during this time. Thankfully they are HS and college age and can fend for themselves with some neighbor over-sight.
