I just recently started typing up a monthly calendar for the family I nanny for. It lists the kids activities, hours, stuff coming up, etc.   I keep one on my frig, one on their frig and one in my nanny bag.  We have all been surprised at how helpful it has been to see that calendar right there front and center.  Wish I had thought to do this long ago. There's no way that I can type up a calendar for the month and expect it to not change.  I've done the same thing with a whiteboard, but a child erased something they didn't want to do (and a parent was the transport, not me).  I keep my phone with me at all times, because I build two alarms into the calendar function per event, one to tell us that we have 5 minutes before leaving for the event, and one to tell us that we have 5 minutes before the event.[/quote]
