The difference is that when toddlers are climbing all over me and using me as part of the obstacle course, they don't intend to hurt me, and a gentle reminder that my face is not a step usually works. A 10 year old would not be playing in the same way, nor would I accept the same behavior as age-appropriate (although not acceptable).[/quote]
