op please do not be dense.  you are not help. you are an employee who's focus should be on her charges.  your mb is being condescending and taking advantage of you. she completely ignored what your concerns were.  they know what they are doing.  you do not owe them extra "help"  because you are traveling with them for work.

My husband travels for work and all expenses get paid for by the company.  This is no different.  It would be like his employer emailing him to run by his sisters house and check the mail and walk her dog.  Has nothing to do with the job.  If anything you should be paid more for traveling with them than you usually are paid.  Not paying them back in favors because they paid for the "help's" plane ticket and room because she is an employee traveling with the family and leaving behind the comforts of her own lifestyle to do so.  Believe me, it won't be a vacation for you.  These don't sound like good people at all. smh[/quote]
