The kids were hungry and frequently cranky and I was always stressed because they wanted my attention and I needed to focus on getting dinner ready for them.  Our current nanny decided that the kids needed to eat around 5pm (since she could tell that they were hungry) and took it upon herself to prepare dinner for them from the start even though it wasn't something that we expected of her.

Long story short, since the new nanny started 7 months ago the kids are happier, we're happier and the nanny is well respected and appreciated for having the initiative to realize that this was something simple that she could do to make life easier for everyone.[/quote]
