[/quote] A 60 year old can be fine for an actual nanny, might not be the case for a retired grandmother. My mom is in her 60's she's in good health, but I know for a fact she doesn't have the energy for 2 babies all day 40 plus a week. My husband's mother could do it, but I do not want her in my house 40 plus hours a week. Now I do know people that use grandma as caregiver, but it really is an entirely different dynamic when family is the nanny there are positives and negatives. OP, maybe have family and friends help you out the first few months and go for daycare if cost is an issue.[/quote]
