[/quote] That is absurd. The candidate accepted an offer for a start date that she later was unable to meet. She accepted a job under false pretenses basically - she was unavailable to do the job for which she was hired. The legal breach of contract is hers, not the employer's. This is not on the OP in any way - legal or moral. [/quote]
