Op here. Please let me clarify. I have a car but take the subway ( I'm in NYC) because Mb doesn't have parking around her home. I'm also not allowed to keep a change of clothes or other necessities at her home. I asked her the first day if I can leave a few items like snacks, change of clothes, a few girl products, etc in the babies closet. She told me she wasn't ok with that. She really wanted daycare but he was kicked out within a week of being there. I even keep my purse on the floor by the back door.
Put a shirt and a pair of jeans or shorts in your purse. Or carry a small backpack. Adults can work through these issues....
I agree with this. I also don't have a car, and I carry my shoes to work each day. A pair of leggings and a light-weight longsleeve shirt rolled up wouldn't weight that much in your bag.
