The thing about paying for the daughters flight in lieu of actually paying her salary--Do you think the nanny doesn't need to still pay her rent/mortgage just because she is going to Hawaii for a week?   Her car payment?   Her electric/water/gas bill?   Those expenses won't stop, no matter how nice of a trip you pay for her daughter.[/quote]
