I'm a nanny and prefer driving my own car. I know how it handles, and completely comfortable with it. I don't have to worry if it gets scratched or anything like that. I have my own car seats, I know the history of the seats, I register my seats so if there is a recall I know about it and can handle it and get the issue fixed,I know how to use them properly, how to install them correctly, Before I pm Jim I want to make a FB status and see if he says anything. What should I write. I'm thinking along the lines that it doesn't matter how long you kniw someone or how close you were people grow apart etcknow the height and weight limits so know if it's outgrown, I can have the my car my rules which means all occupants will rf until 2 at a minimum but as close to 4 as possible (my seats will get almost all children to 3/4 rf, kids will be harnessed until 6 and mature enough to move to a booster, kids will remain in a booster until they pass the 5 step test to get out of one, also my installs are checked regularly my a cpst. As for insurance I have a Ryder on my insurance plan, this is reimbursed by my employer. My employers pay to have my car detailed twice a year. I don't allow food or drinks in my car and remove dirty shoes, clothes before putting the kids in the car so I rarely need it detailed. I also get a gas stipend plus the IRS rate. Not all famines are able to purchase an extra car or leave one for the nanny to use. In my area it's rare to find a job that doesn't require the nanny to have their own vehicle.
