My nanny also uses that room to rest, etc, when DD is sleeping.

And no, having a bed to "rest" during your job is not a basic human right, PPs.  I certainly don't have this at my job.  That said, I'm happy to provide it given a) the nature of the job sch that cosleeping or resting might sometimes make sense and b) that our nanny does have downtime during the little one's nap.

I really fail to understand where the crazy people on this board come from.  Sure I'll be flamed for this, but really you ruin it for the people who do hope to have a rational discussion and respectful relationships between employer and employee.[/quote]
