My MB is a SAHM, she does nothing all day except workout, eat and shop. She helps drive kids to activities in the evenings. She signs her children up for way too many activities just to keep them occupied and out of her hair. And when I get there she has me do things that have never been in my job description. I.e. organize clutter, do her dishes, walk dogs, mend things. I feel more like a personal slave than nanny. Every day I arrive, there is a list of things to do that have nothing to do with being a nanny or the children. What are your limits? Where have MBs overstepped? And how did you fix it/handle it?
As long as you are being paid, you are not a slave. You sound like someone who is very resentful of her employer. You have three choices, suck it up and do what she asks, sit down with her and talk about what you should and should not be doing, or quit your job. Yes, it isn't always the easiest thing to talk to your boss, but nothing will change if you say nothing.
What a disgusting attitude. Shame on you.
And why is this a disgusting attitude? Is it better to say to the OP that she has a horrible boss and say she is not at fault for any of this? People throw around the slave word without having any concept of what it really means to be a slave. Is she being whipped until her inch of he back is bloodied because she didn't do something right? Is she being forced to do this job without being paid for it? Then chances are good that she isn't a slave. And yes, OP has three choices she can choose from. She can line up a new job and quit and learn from her mistakes with this job. Sorry if I didn't pamper the OP enough for you.
