I agree with this. I'm a MB, and I would want to be clear in my own head about what I could offer before I talked to you. If this is new information to her, she may need to do the research, check her budget, and figure out if she can afford it. I wouldn't want to respond emotionally to you, and I would want to be able to be straight with you about what we could manage. I would also be asking about daycare, since I would be worried you would quit on the spot if I couldn't make it work.[/quote]

All that may be true, and are completely valid reasons for taking your time, but it still means that OP should probably have a plan B too. If her MB realizes OP is right, and that it isn't in their budget to make happen, she has already began the daycare search and for whatever reason, good or bad, OP may be out of a job soon. [/quote]
