I also want to stay with my current job for at least a year because it will look good on my resume. When the next family sees that I have stayed with my current job for at least a year, they will see this as a really good thing. I may be job searching again in the summer if my husband gets a job offer in a different city.

Thanks for all your support. This isn't easy. It's been very difficult but I just need to hang in there until the summer. I know my husband is very grateful that I am here working and saving for our future. I will be able to help buy a car if we need one in the summer or help with the rent /moving expenses if we move to another city. My husand has no savings and is barely getting by now. He actually is on food stamps. I am going to try to make the most of my current job opportunity. I have planned to live with him sometime in the summer months even if that means moving to Hawaiii and being unemployed. I guess it's just a waiting game to see where he gets a job offer :-)
