Um, my bosses know because they care about me as a person other than just someone who works for them..and they want to know when my birthday is so they can help celebrate. Don't make me feel stupid for that. Some of you don't disclose that info, GOOD for you! I have a great relationship w/ my bosses and wouldn't change it for the world.[/quote]

Also (new poster here), I talk about my week/weekend plans with my bosses and so I might mention that I am getting together with some friends to go out on Saturday night for drinks for my birthday, or perhaps for other occasions like seeing a friend for the first time in 5 years, or my niece's graduation party, etc. The children sometimes ask when my birthday is specifically because THEY like to celebrate things like that with the people they care about, I am not about to lie to the kids about when my birthday is. If I tell them in November it is in March, then later in Feb they usually ask again what day it is and plan something with their parents.[/quote]
