Why do you nannies demand higher pay for having to get up at 6AM or having part time hours? Many people have to get up early and many seek part time work. Stop making your own rules. I definitely would pay extra because nanny needs to get to work early. If your not an early bird then look for 2nd or 3rd shift jobs. Lazy and entitled.[/quote]

This is neither lazy nor entitled, it is the price I have assigned to my opportunity to sleep in. It is not worth it to me, nor to most nannies, to get up that early (4:30/5am for a 6am start) for less. You know how people talk about what their time is worth? That is what my time is worth. You don't have to employ me, that's fine, but you don't get to insult me and say that I can decide for myself what my mornings, or time at all, is worth. Because I do, just like you and everybody else. If absolutely no one would employ me, trust me, my time would be worth less, but that isn't the scenario I find myself in so why should I change anything?[/quote]
