No, dropping to PT hours doesn't mandate a pay raise but if the family wants to keep her on rather than lose her to another FT job, thus asking the nanny to work her FT schedule around their 18 hours a week, a raise is a good way to do that. Otherwise OP would prob be better off finding a single, 40-60hr job.[/quote]
