I make my usual weekly salary, and my employers pay for gas, hotel, meals, tickets to go on outings, etc.  we discuss ahead of time what we plan to do and how much it will likely cost.  If there is something that comes up beyond that budget (like a carnival in town on our last trip), I try to work within the budget or sometimes pay out of pocket if it's something that I really want to do (like takin my mom out to dinner with the kids).  Usually, MB or DB will give me a little time off (like 1/2 day) when we get back so that I can relax and unpack without jugglings kids.[/quote]

How did this even come up as an option? Dd you ask or did they bring it up. It seems like a great win-win scenario if you have established the Evelyn of trust that you obviously have. [/quote]
