This mother sounds like a scatter brain and she obviously does not value your time at all. She is selfish. She thinks her time and needs are way more important than yours. She freakin' expects you at her whim. WTF??

This is a trial week anyway since in all nanny jobs a few weeks should make or break a nanny/parent relationship, etc.

I would kindly and diplomatically tell her that after these last few days, you just don't think you are a suitable match for each other's needs. Don't go into much detail and keep everything civil no matter how pissed you are inside. Btw, I don't blame you one bit OP.

Hopefully you can collect your payment and move on. If she balks, then you may have to stick it out another week until you get your payment in full. If you get paid in check, make sure the check clears before you tell her you will not be returning.
