It is not healthy, but hey, those who aren't obese are at the same risks of developing similar diseases since a lot of them come from genetic inheritance. The discrimination against ONLY obese people is unjustifiable. If you read on the subject, on paper smoking is worse than obesity not only for the smoker, but also for second hand smokers and yet they don't suffer discrimination. Hell, they are even allowed to use their work breaks to smoke. Moreover, smoking costs more to health insurance than obesity, but nobody gives a crap since celebrities can smoke and still look sharp. And before I forget, smokers can control the situation, but hey they do not get crap from anybody and can perfectly find jobs without being scrutinized. Not to mention that smokers can lie about smoking on their resume, too bad for fat people who cannot lie about it eh? CDC.gov has all the information and statistics.

Have you read about the subject in depth? Have you ever read that skinny people can also get type 2 diabetes? Yeah. So if a slim person develops the disease, such person won't be discriminated because the myth is that only obese people can suffer from diabetes or high cholesterol. Again, obese people K-N-O-W the risks of their obesity, but the society only points fingers at them as though nobody else could suffer from certain conditions. The problem these days is that they suffer DISCRIMINATION based on their looks.

Again, you need to read more on the subject. I posted here before, I am a very athletic person with good eating habits and average weight and I have type 2 diabetes. So, can you please now explain to me how it happened?
