However there is a huge age gap between eight and twelve. Perhaps I would understand if a child were eleven but eight is too young to expose a child to a dose that is intended for someone 2-4 yrs. older. In my humble opinion, they had a duty to tell whomever is in charge of their child’s care to inform them of the situation. Not judging the parents here because thank goodness have never been in such a precarious circumstance. But as a parent, I would not have chosen that route because of the age gap.[/quote]
