Previous poster here.  I would disagree.  A 10 month old may be mobile (more than likely crawling- some may even begin to pull up on things).  A 4 month old is probably taking 3-4 naps, while a 10 month old may be down to 1 or 2 naps.  Again, highly suggest speaking with the parents on how they feel about stroller naps- otherwise, it may be difficult getting outdoors- one goes down and the other pops up; there’s also a lot of transitions with these ages.

The 18 month old would be motivating the 12 month old and at least you know the 12 month old will be on a 1-2 nap schedule and the 18 month old on a 1 nap schedule, so it would be easy for nanny to arrange activities; have at least 1 nap at the same time.  They will be eating meals together and both curios to learn and explore.  I would definitely prefer this age difference then the 2 infants being 6 months apart- if cared for a 13.5 month old and 18 month old and they were practically on the same schedule after a month.
