Would anyone be willing to share their Covid related guidelines for their au pair? I understand this will vary greatly from family to family. We are thinking of matching with an au pair and wondering what we should tell her / outline in our ‘handbook’ regarding this. We usually have our au pair candidate read our ‘handbook’ before they decide if they want to match w us. We had an au pair in 2020 but they left in April so we have never really had an au pair during Covid times. Just wondering what others are doing either with your current au pair or an au pair you are expecting shortly. Thanks!
Whatever precautions you want, outline it and make it known during the interview. In fact, that's what I start out with. If they are not willing to abide by our requirements, then there's no pont in having a conversation. Be wary of "I believe in masking but I still want to have an amazing travel year". Make it relaistic.
