OP, I'm looking for a super careful nanny or part time nanny. We get groceries delivered and don't go anywhere indoors. I have seen one singe friend who is strictly isolating because she has a newborn. DH has gone to the dentist and doctor, and we have one grandparent visiting occasionally who is distancing even more strictly (we buy her groceries). Let me know if you want to talk! As for your question, your employer is out of line, but everyone is on edge these days. Still, it doesn't sound like they're concerned about your well being. And most important, I hope you feel better soon, regardless of whether you have Covid or not!
I love how you are looking for a super careful nanny, yet you are the opposite of super careful!!! I can’t with families like you.
Umm what.. This poster is obviously being very careful. What more would you like them to do?
Put off dentist and doctor unless it’s an emergency? It’s what I’m doing...
Yep and grandma can wait. I’m sure if the nanny was going to the dentist and doctor and visiting her family this MB wouldn’t think she was being ‘careful’...
I'd be fine with dentist and doctor as long as the offices were careful and the family situation would depend. Mother or father or a sibling or both parents living in a unit and being careful would be fine. But I am not here to dictate how others live their lives and this is also why we have not had a nanny since March (despite paying her in full through July at which point she took another job).
