I believe that eventually things got better.

I know I can't do anything about this but I am just wondering if they are any tips to manage the situation and make things easy for our new AP and less confusing for my kids? DD will definitely have a hard time understanding why AP is not with us anymore and why AP is with her friend.
I was selfishly hoping she will extend with a family in another neighborhood or city :-)
