We are looking for a nanny who can primarily drive our kids to and from school. We realized that it would be easier if the nanny could do this using her own car, as we have to commute to work. I would love to hear from people who have this arrangement with their nannies -- my husband thinks as long as we ask the nanny to submit evidence of car maintenance, insurance, etc., then it will be fine, but I'm pretty nervous about this arrangement. Would love any insight/advice. We've never hired a nanny before, so we're new at this. Thank you!
How old are your kids? I have a two year old and our nanny drives him in her car (locally). She has a nice safe car with a car seat in the center back seat. We reimburse her for mileage. She has insurance and a really well maintained car and a spotless driving record.
