Not the issue.  OP should never have to remind her employer to pay her or wait one second beyond the agreed upon time.  If Friday, for example, is payday then you are paid before you leave work at the end of your day on Friday.  No exceptions and no excuses.

People get busy.  They have jobs, kids, their own lives.  Its very easy to forget.  Send her a reminder the night before documenting the hours work and the total amount.  Simple.  Many professionals submit a timesheet.  Be a "professional" instead of a child having a temper tantrum.  Friday ends at midnight, not the end of the work day.[/quote]

All employers and company owners have jobs, kids, their own lives and manage not to forget to pay their employees.  Are you okay when your boss forgets to pay you?  You get your paycheck before the end of the workday.  No excuses.  I run a forty person company and have never had any of my employees need to remind me to pay them.  I most certainly would never forget to pay the employee who takes care of my child all day!  [/quote]
