I used PP as my provider for my annual exams and for BC for years in college and as a young adult. I went to the location in Frederick MD and never encountered anything like that. I usually went first thing in the morning because at the time there were no appointments (if I remember correctly) and they saw you on a first-come-first-served basis and I didn't want to be sitting there for hours. Never had a negative experience in any way--from the staff to the providers, and no protesters or anything like that. Was all totally normal. Can you offer to go with her? Doctors appointments are always a bit intimidating anyways.
Thank you for the helpful information. I would offer to go if my schedule allowed and it was my AP, but my AP says her friend is a bit shy. She is wanting to go without an appointment, I tried to see if they have walk ins at the one in DC but couldn’t find any information. I also tried calling but was on hold too long.
