If she has access to a car it would be worthwhile to go up there because it is usually much less crowded and people seem a bit more helpful than in Rockville/DC. Worth the drive, IMO, and while she is up there she could check out "downtown" Frederick which has a lot of great restaurants, a beautiful park, a lovely vintage clothes store (venus on the half shell) and is fun to walk around.
The comment to "deal" with things was not helpful, but there may be less to "deal with" up in Frederick.

AP mentioned going here. Is DC the only one around? Perhaps this is dumb question, but will they run into protestors outside or anything I should warn them about?

Anonymous wrote:I used PP as my provider for my annual exams and for BC for years in college and as a young adult. I went to the location in Frederick MD and never encountered anything like that. I usually went first thing in the morning because at the time there were no appointments (if I remember correctly) and they saw you on a first-come-first-served basis and I didn't want to be sitting there for hours. Never had a negative experience in any way--from the staff to the providers, and no protesters or anything like that. Was all totally normal.
Can you offer to go with her? Doctors appointments are always a bit intimidating anyways.
