Your Nanny does not have to stay inside all day w/a child with cabin fever.

If her vehicle has A/C she can drive him to an indoor mall w/a play structure, a local family friendly restaurant for lunch or even an air-conditioned library for storytelling.

Good grief, where do you live?? That is the normal summer temperature in most of the country. Obviously people do not stay inside every day it hits 79...that's considered the "good" summer weather for outdoor play where I live!

Agreed that 90+ is hot for outdoor activities, with the possible exception of splash parks. Even high 80s if it's super humid and muggy might be good for staying indoors. Have a few good air-conditioned activities like the library or area children's museums in rotation, especially if your home is not air-conditioned.[/quote]
