A one off does not a pattern make. Men are and will always be riskier around kids. That's how they're wired. Does that mean no women are ever pedophiles or child abusers? No, of course not. It just means men are statistically more likely to be abusers than women. Personally, I'd be leery of any man who wants to be alone with a child; but that's just me.[/quote]
