Frankly, this is one of the (many) reasons I really, really don’t like when a parent is home.  It sounds like you spent the last four months keeping the infant home while toddler kept her normal schedule with the nanny, rather than easing the infant into the schedule slowly, so that nanny had a chance to tweak the schedule before now.  At this point, nanny should have both kids most of the day, and you should be confident that she can handle the day-to-day schedule and deal with emergencies.  She sounds like she has experience with 2+, and she offered at least two options for dealing with it.  No, you don’t pull a child out of classes every morning just because there’s now an infant to tag along.[/quote]
