You have to pay whatever you owe. Did you fill out a W-4 when you started? Have you tried online tax preparation software? It's usually free in certain income brackets and you can play with it to see what, if any, deductions you might be eligible for. Does your mom have a job/income of her own? If not and you've been supporting her, you may be able to claim her as a dependent. [/quote]
