I don’t know if you and your charges family text but what I’ve been doing around naptime, is sending a group text to Mom & dad about activities, pictures, what they ate and what time she went down for nap. This way by time they come home, I can say “yep, she had a blast” or tell them about a part in the day she really loved and what time she woke up. I deliver all this while I’m putting on my coat and then okay, see you tomorrow.

I’m sure they understand and it doesn’t look like I don’t want to talk.  I’ve been working 10.5 hours and I’m ready to go home and unwind.
