We both have parents in the area but it would be a disruption to DD if she went to stay with them or they came to stay with her at our home - with her nanny, her life is normal with the exception of dinner, bath and bed (but that has all gone smoothly).  Plus nanny handles all the goings on at the house - deliveries, mail, housecleaners, trash, grocery shopping, ordering supplies - so we will not be coming home to an empty fridge or messy house.

I just feel very grateful today.  I cannot wait to get home to see my baby but this trip has been so fantastic for us and I would not have relaxed this much without our nanny.
