I do eat healthy and exercise, and also get yearly blood work done. I have asthma and am on steroids at times, maybe that is making me immunocompromised? I am going to check with my doctor. When I work with infants, I do go to classes, library, playgroups, etc. and very rarely get sick. As soon as I work with children who go to school, I catch everything they get. Could be coincidence or some immune issues going on. Definitely going to make a doctor appointment.
Op, that's because babies most often have conditions and not much communicable disease because they haven't been in contact with germs for long. I'm close in age to you and do backup care with kids usually home sick from daycares or school and rarely catch anything. Of course I don't have asthma but if I was in your shoes, I would stay far away from jobs with that age group.
