Most families try to keep the same nanny part-time while the child attends preschool part-time, and the reality is that many find tasks to fill those hours so that the nanny is still paid at a full-time rate.  However, if the nanny is moving, I understand that it isn't an option for you.  I'm not sure why you chose 2 as the age to start preschool (daycare), as most children handle the transition more easily at either 18 months or 3 years old than they do at any time in between.[/quote]
