I've thought about offering to help her find another family who she could nanny for on the days when our daughter has preschool (In theory, shed have off Mon, Wed, and Fri) because we honestly cant afford to continue to pay her her salaried rate while also paying a preschool. I feel like this is fair, but I guess my question is, if you were the nanny, and were in this situation (or have been in this situation before) how would you prefer for this transition to occur? What other options should we consider? She has been great and don't want to do anything that may unintentionally offend her or be considered unfair, but as I said before, this is our first time doing this and we are already pushing our finances to the limit from using a nanny to begin with (needed one for health reasons)so, advice from some veterans would be greatly appreciated.
