It doesn't show anything except how one family is trying to hire a nanny. You wouldn't accept those terms, nor will the next nanny. So the parents with either not be able to fill the position and will be forced to offer more or will wind up with someone with very little experience. No one gets any particular salary because they "deserve" it. They get the salary that the market will bear for the job. It's just a supply and demand issue. I often see jobs in my own field posted for 1/2 of what I make. I'm not outraged, I just move onto the next post. [/quote]
