Find out for yourself by posting an ad at websites like sittercity, care, urbansitter. $20/hr for FT work (sometimes you need to pay a higher rate for PT to make it worth it to nannys) for 1.5 kids? You'll have more than 30 applications from just one site (nannys on urbansitter tend to ask higher rates than the other two). Try it out at $2 less than what you can pay. If you don't like the applicants, go up and see if you get better. Where there is a good fit on both sides is what the market rate is for your job duties. [/quote]
