Are you seriously saying it's okay for this family to leave food and trash around, and not wash a single dish over the weekend, simply because OP agreed to do some light housekeeping? Sorry, but people who are comfortable leaving their house in this state probably aren't too worried about the quality of food they're eating for lunch, so long as they don't have to pack it or clean it up.
